I've been a makeup artist since 1991 and a licensed aesthetician since 2005. In 2013 I founded my own skincare and fragrance line, version.O. I've built ingredient glossaries for beauty and wellness brands, including an essential oil line of around two hundred single oils. I've rewritten entire brands' labels to be INCI compliant, and written the copy on the front of the bottle. So I know exactly how the claims get made — and who's making them.
