Evaluation of topical black seed oil in the treatment of allergic rhinitis.

Findings

Black seed oil applied as nasal drops for 6 weeks helped allergic rhinitis symptoms in 92% of users versus 30% in the placebo group. In mild cases, 100% became symptom-free; in moderate cases, 69% were symptom-free and 25% improved; in severe cases, 58% were symptom-free and 25% improved.
