Findings

A panel of toxicology experts reviewed safety data on glycerin and concluded it's safe for use in cosmetics at the concentrations typically found in products. Glycerin showed no concerning toxicity issues in animal and human studies, making it a legitimately safe humectant and conditioning ingredient.
