Rosehip extract and wound healing: A review.

This review found only two human studies on rosehip oil for scars, and both showed some promise—the oil may help reduce scar size and redness after surgery by calming inflammation. However, the researchers were honest: there's just not enough quality evidence yet to actually recommend rosehip oil for wound treatment, and more research is needed.
