Clinical and instrumental evaluation of skin improvement after treatment with a new 50% pyruvic acid peel.

Findings

After 4 pyruvic acid peel treatments over 8 weeks, patients saw meaningful improvements in skin elasticity, wrinkle appearance, and pigmentation (especially for melasma). The formulation was gentle enough that no one reported discomfort, redness afterward, or darkening of skin—major wins for a chemical peel.
