Findings
Octocrylene is safe for sun protection at concentrations up to 10%—it doesn't disrupt your hormones like some worried it might. It's a rare skin sensitizer, though photocontact allergies (reactions triggered by sun + ingredient) happen more often, usually in people already sensitive to the pain reliever ketoprofen.
