Findings

Sunscreens with Mexoryl SX (ecamsule) reduced DNA damage, prevented excessive skin darkening from UV exposure, and protected the immune system better than sunscreens without it. The protection was dose-dependent—more Mexoryl SX meant stronger defense against UV-induced pigmentation and cellular damage.
