A Cohort Clinical Study on the Ef…atitis of the Scalp.

In a 4-week study of 20 people with moderate to severe scalp dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis, piroctone olamine combined with salicylic acid significantly reduced dandruff (55% improvement), itching (53% improvement), and scalp greasiness (46% improvement). After 16 weeks of maintenance treatment, 90% of participants saw their severe cases improve to mild, with an overall 80% clinical improvement rate.
