Multifunctional fucoidan-loaded Z…ected wound healing.

Researchers created a microneedle patch loaded with fucoidan (a seaweed extract) that penetrated deep into skin to fight MRSA infections in mice. The patch delivered zinc ions and hyaluronic acid alongside the fucoidan, which worked together to kill bacteria, reduce inflammation, and speed up wound healing—targeting bacteria even inside cells where antibiotics typically can't reach.
