Findings

Cyclopentasiloxane and similar cyclic siloxanes showed minimal skin absorption and no signs of irritation or allergic reactions in testing. The researchers concluded these ingredients are safe at current cosmetic use levels, with negligible risk of systemic exposure from topical application.
