Reduction of adenovirus 36-induced obesity and inflammation by mulberry extract.

Findings

In mice infected with a obesity-linked virus, mulberry extract reduced body weight and fat buildup. The extract also blocked viral replication by 70% and lowered inflammatory markers (MCP-1 and TNF-α) in fat tissue.
