Findings
Nanoparticles can potentially deliver ingredients deeper into skin than traditional formulas, which is useful for hard-to-deliver actives like peptides and proteins. However, the research shows that very few nano-based products have actually made it to market yet, partly because safety testing for these tiny particles hasn't caught up with the hype. The bottom line: nano-delivery is promising but still experimental—most products claiming nano-technology haven't proven they're safe or that they actually work better.
