Topical palmitoyl pentapeptide provides improvement in photoaged human facial skin.

Findings

In a 12-week study of 93 women aged 35-55, a moisturizer with palmitoyl pentapeptide (pal-KTTKS) showed measurable improvements in wrinkles and fine lines compared to plain moisturizer alone. Both technical measurements and expert reviewers saw significant reduction in wrinkles, and users also reported improvements in fine lines.
