Findings
This microencapsulated formula combining benzoyl peroxide and tretinoin cleared acne significantly better than a placebo cream over 12 weeks. About 38-39% of people using the treatment saw major improvement in their acne, compared to just 11-15% on placebo. It reduced both inflammatory and noninflammatory lesions by roughly 15-30 more lesions than the control.
