Snail mucin contains compounds like allantoin, glycolic acid, and hyaluronic acid that show promise for wound healing and reducing scars. However, the research is still limited—there aren't enough human clinical trials to confirm how well it actually works, and safety concerns like skin irritation and allergic reactions need more testing before we can say it's fully safe for everyone.
