Findings

When pomegranate extract was packaged into tiny nanoparticles and applied to skin as a gel, it showed significant anticancer effects against a specific type of tumor in mice. The nanoparticle delivery method helped the pomegranate penetrate skin more effectively than pomegranate extract alone. This is early-stage lab research—it hasn't been tested on humans yet.
