Findings

Researchers created a hydrogel containing manganese dioxide nanoparticles designed to fight the inflammation and oxidative stress that drives atopic dermatitis. In mouse models with AD, the treatment reduced skin thickening, mast cell buildup, and IgE antibody levels—markers of the condition's severity.
