OriginNative to France. Lavender flowers from the Lamiaceae family are native to Mediterranean regions and widely cultivated in France. Essential oil and extracts are obtained through steam distillation or solvent extraction of the dried flowers.

This is the extract of the flowers of Lavandula angustifolia (Lamiaceae); the leaves of Olea europaea (Oleaceae), Origanum vulgare (Lamiaceae), Rosmarinus officinalis (Lamiaceae) and Thymus vulgaris (Lamiaceae) and the whole plant Hydrastis Canadensis (Ranunculaceae).
