OriginPolyurethane-34 is synthesized from polyols and isocyanates, members of the polyurethane chemical family. It is produced through the polymerization reaction between polyol compounds and diisocyanates under controlled conditions.

Polyurethane-34 is a complex polymer that is formed in a multi-step reaction. A copolymer of Hexanediol, Neopentyl Glycol, and Adipic Acid is reacted with hexamethylene diisocyanate. The resulting polymer is further reacted with N-(2-aminoethyl)-3-aminoethanesulfonic acid and ethylenediamine
